Mental health in the workplace

We asked our members what mental health support looks like to them, and how employers can best support employees in the workplace.

Our members shared their thoughts on:

  • Having a dedicated system in place to check in on employees outside of day-to-day work meetings
  • Providing safe spaces and encouraging education on mental health support
  • Mental health support for different religious communities

As 2 in 3 members believe employers should be doing more to support their employees’ mental wellbeing, providing adequate mental health support is imperative. Starting an open conversation to understand how graduates can feel they are supported in the workplace is the best way to begin, according to our members.
