Diversity and Inclusion initiatives

When asked what type of Inclusion & Diversity (or other) initiatives would encourage them to research into a firm further and/or apply, our members said they liked:

  • Mentoring schemes, including for help with the application process and to improve learning and upskilling in the role
  • Open communication between junior and senior members of the team
  • When companies show their commitment and work ethic through using quotas and goals

As our members discuss, there are some valuable approaches that organisations can adopt to improve their Diversity & Inclusion strategy that would appeal to young talent. Adopting mentoring schemes and having open conversations with employees are some great ways to highlight an organisation’s commitment to providing an inclusive learning and working environment.
