Graduate Jobs in the New Normal

When asked what an ideal graduate role looks like in the ‘new normal’, and what benefits and responsibilities they are looking for, our members said they wanted:  

  • Flexible employers who allow graduates to control how they would work best in the role - whether that is in the office or at home.
  • The option to work in office for those who want to, to allow for a work/life balance and to build valuable relationships with the team.
  • The option to work from home if needed, providing security in roles as well as inclusivity so that the role is accessible to all.

The pandemic has shaped the way that many of us live and work, and it’s important for employers to provide flexibility for their staff and potential candidates. Allowing graduates to choose how they would work best, and providing the relevant tools and support for them to do this, is the best way to ensure employees feel supported in the post-pandemic world.
