Black Heritage Future Leaders

14th October

About the event

We’re celebrating Black History Month in October 2020 with Black Heritage Future Leaders. This event connects top graduate employers committed to diversity with some of the brightest students studying at UK universities.

At Bright Network we’re committed to making sure every one of our members has the best first step in their career, whatever their background.

We’d love you to join us in our mission to make this possible. Show your commitment to building a diverse pipeline of talent for your organisation.

What our research tells us:
- Nearly half (47%) of black heritage Bright Network members feel that their background has hindered them in an application process*. That’s up from 40% last year.
- This change has further reinforced our commitment to working together to make a difference for this group. There is still much further to go. Join us at this inspirational event to continue making a difference.

Showcase your commitment to diversity and inclusion:
As revealed in our latest research, an organisation’s people and culture plays a crucial role in whether our members will submit an application. Our events give leading firms the chance to stand out ahead of the traditional campus marketing season.

Recognise talent by sponsoring an award:
-We’re committed to celebrating the talent and achievements of our members. Following feedback from our members we know this to be an excellent way to strengthen your brand further among this cohort of students.
